It is the aim of Carbody-Restoration to rebuild a perfect vintage car, from either the craftmanship and the historical point of view. We dislike to use contemporary or historical incorrect replacement parts.

All metal sheets are welded edge to edge to avoid doubled layered sheets, causing new rust. We renounce wide area use of filler-material.

Occasional bumbs in hollow spaces, which can not be fixed, will be tin-plated workmanlike.

The replacement of whole side-parts is avoided. The original substance is saved as much as possible. Doors, lids and flaps, supposed they are stll available, will not be renewed, but fixed. There will be no over restored high-gloss-finish for military vehicles.

We want to achieve a well restored car for daily use, with the adequate original paintwork and the "appropriate patina" - no Fillerbomber!
